Thank You for an Incredible 18th Annual Blues on the Bay!

Coastal Hospice supporters gathered for our Annual Blues on the Bay at Macky’s Bayside Bar & Grill, enjoying an unforgettable evening of music, food, fellowship, and, most importantly, gratitude.

More than 150 guests came together despite a looming Nor’easter threatening the evening. Thankfully, the weather cooperated just enough for everyone to relax, enjoy the waterfront setting, and have a wonderful time. Margot & Co. set the perfect mood with a lively mix of jazz and contemporary tunes, while guests enjoyed an open bar and an incredible spread of food, including freshly shucked local oysters, exceptionally tender beef, and an array of hearty, savory hors d’oeuvres.

The evening’s highlight was a special tribute to Macky and Pam Stansell. Senator Mary Beth Carozza and Delegate Wayne Hartman presented the Stansells with a joint proclamation recognizing their tremendous generosity and longstanding commitment to philanthropy throughout our community. Their support extends far beyond Coastal Hospice, touching countless nonprofits, organizations, and individuals across the Lower Eastern Shore.

For Coastal Hospice, the Stansells’ impact is particularly meaningful. Their connection to Coastal Hospice began when our team cared for Pam’s mother in her home. Since then, they have become extraordinary advocates, supporters, and champions of our mission, helping ensure that our neighbors can receive compassionate, dignified care when they need it most.

Coastal Hospice is forever indebted to Macky and Pam for their generosity, advocacy, and unwavering belief in the importance of caring for our community. Their commitment has made a lasting difference in so many lives.

Blues on the Bay was a wonderful celebration of all that makes our Coastal Hospice family so special: generous supporters, treasured friendships, and a community that comes together to ensure no one has to face the end-of-life journey alone.

And even with a Nor’easter on the horizon, there was plenty of sunshine in the room.
