Position:Palliative Care LPN

Type:Part Time

The Palliative Care LPN assists busy Nurse Practitioner with community palliative care visits by completing medical assistant tasks including scheduling, documenting in electronic medical record, collaborating with admissions department for new patient enrollments and educating patients and their families on palliative care services.  Successful candidate will be LPN with active certification to work in the state of Maryland, valid driver’s license with good driving record.  Requires excellent customer service attitude, superior organizational skills and ability to work a flexible schedule, preferably Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Position:VP, Clinical Services

Type:Full Time

As a member of the Sr. Management Team, we will count on you for the leadership and direction of clinical services for Coastal Hospice.  You’ll ensure our patients and families receive the highest quality care compliant with all regulations and standards.  Direct oversight of four home hospice teams, an inpatient unit and a hospice residential facility.

Master’s Degree in nursing, healthcare administration or related field required. Hospice and Palliative Care Certification preferred.  Minimum two-year’s successful experience managing clinical teams.

Position:Spiritual Counselor

Type:Part Time

30 hours a week, including Saturday. Shift differential provided.

The Spiritual Counselor provides support and counseling to hospice patients and their families. M. Div. or Master’s of Pastoral Counseling or M.Th. as well as 1 unit of CPE and current ecclesiastic endorsement required.


Type:Full Time

Admissions Facilitator. Supports the team by coordinating admissions services for patients, facilitating communication between the team members. LPN required due to responsibilities, may be required to periodically visit patients or work a clinical rotation based on program needs. Must be licensed to practice in Maryland and possess current CPR. Excellent customer service skills and proficiency with EMR required.

Position:Hospice House Director

Type:Full Time

Seeking compassionate RN (MSN preferred) for director position for the new Macky and Pam Stansell House at Coastal Hospice at the Ocean located in Ocean Pines.

The Hospice House Director is responsible for the operation of the hospice residence including policy development, patient care, meal services, laundry and housekeeping. Proven successful experience in supervising a team, maintaining compliance in a facility setting, excellent customer service, and nursing assessment skills are required. Successful candidate will be required to obtain Delegating Nurse credential as part of orientation, paid by Coastal Hospice.
