Position:VP, Clinical Services
As a member of the Sr. Management Team, we will count on you for the leadership and direction of clinical services for Coastal Hospice. You’ll ensure our patients and families receive the highest quality care compliant with all regulations and standards. Direct oversight of four home hospice teams, an inpatient unit and a hospice residential facility.
Master’s Degree in nursing, healthcare administration or related field required along with a minimum of 2 years successful experience managing interdisciplinary clinical teams. Hospice and Palliative Care Certification preferred
The HR Generalist is responsible for the recruitment of qualified employment candidates using various platforms for job postings. In collaboration with the HR Director and hiring managers, oversees the employment process from screening of applicants, conducting reference and background investigations, scheduling and conducting interviews as well as on boarding, education and other development programs within the agency.
Establishes relationships with local universities and colleges. Represents Coastal Hospice at job fairs and other career-oriented speaking engagements.
Continues professional development to stay current with employment and recruitment trends.
Maintains HRIS and ATS data base and creates reports routinely. Creates paper employment files as necessary.
Previous Experience in healthcare HR environment preferred.
The per diem Spiritual Counselor provides support and counseling to hospice patients and their families on an as needed basis. M. Div. or Master’s of Pastoral Counseling or M.Th. as well as 1 unit of CPE and current ecclesiastic endorsement required.
Position:Medical Social Worker
Seeking a Master’s prepared Social Worker to join our compassionate interdisciplinary team providing a premier hospice experience for our patients and families. Manages a case load which requires travel to patients’ residences throughout our service area which includes Wicomico, Dorchester, Somerset and Worcester counties on Maryland’s lower Eastern Shore. Works collaboratively with other social workers to meet program needs. May assist in supervision/mentoring of social work interns, as needed. LMSW, LCSW or LCSW-C required.
