Position:Community & Media Relations Coordinator
40 hours per week. Reports to the Director of Advancement, oversees community and media/social relations as well as public education of Coastal Hospice. Serves as the principal staff member responsible for event and vendor coordination. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree. Excellent public speaking, editing, and writing skills. Demonstrated expertise in marketing and public relations. Graphic design experience preferred.
30 hours a week, including Saturday. Shift differential provided.
The Spiritual Counselor provides support and counseling to hospice patients and their families. M. Div. or Master’s of Pastoral Counseling or M.Th. as well as 1 unit of CPE and current ecclesiastic endorsement required.
- Several full time positions: $2,000 sign on bonus for full-time RN positions
- RN float for Home Hospice, all counties
- Admissions Nurse, 3pm – 11pm with weekend rotation
- Admissions Nurse, 4 10-hour days with weekend rotation

Position:Medical Social Worker
$2,000 sign-on bonus. LCSW, LCSW-C or LGSW licensed to work in the state of Maryland. Work on a compassionate interdisciplinary team to provide a premier hospice experience for our patients and families. Manages a case load. Travels to patients’ residences. Works collaboratively with other social workers to meet program needs. May assist in supervision/mentoring of social work interns, as needed.
Admissions Facilitator. Supports the team by coordinating admissions services for patients, facilitating communication between the team members. LPN required due to responsibilities, may be required to periodically visit patients or work a clinical rotation based on program needs. Must be licensed to practice in Maryland and possess current CPR. Excellent customer service skills and proficiency with EMR required.
CNA or GNA. Requires at least one year previous experience in home care or geriatric setting. Make home visits to patients and assist with ADLs and light housecleaning when necessary.

Position:Hospice House Director
Seeking compassionate RN (MSN preferred) for director position for the new Macky and Pam Stansell House at Coastal Hospice at the Ocean located in Ocean Pines.
The Hospice House Director is responsible for the operation of the hospice residence including policy development, patient care, meal services, laundry and housekeeping. Proven successful experience in supervising a team, maintaining compliance in a facility setting, excellent customer service, and nursing assessment skills are required. Successful candidate will be required to obtain Delegating Nurse credential as part of orientation, paid by Coastal Hospice.
