Testimonial

There are so many stories of how the lives of each child were impacted during camp, but one unforgettable moment truly captured the spirit of Camp Chameleon.

One morning, the children were painting individualized canvases when a cup of water accidentally spilled onto one little girl’s artwork. As she watched, the sunset colors she had painted began blending together and transformed into the shape of a heart right before everyone’s eyes.

The room fell silent in amazement until another little girl beside her softly said:

“Wow, your Pop Pop just sent you some love.”

Moments like these happened throughout the week — reminders of healing, connection, and hope in the midst of grief.
