Mark your calendar for Monday\, January 27 from 4PM-9PM\, benefiting the Macky & Pam Stansell House of Coastal Hospice. 10% of drink\, food\, merchandise sales and 50% of sales from a chosen “Signature” beer will be donated. Enjoy a cold beer (or soda)\, delicious food\, music\, and 50/50 Raffle! \n\n\n\nThe Macky & Pam Stansell House of Coastal Hospice is a state-of-the-art hospice residence and community outreach center in Berlin that offers beds for terminally ill patients\, palliative care\, counseling\, grief support\, and community wellness programs. Founded in 1980\, Coastal Hospice is a nonprofit health care organization that cares for individuals facing life-limiting conditions but who want to remain as active and engaged as possible. Coastal Hospice cares for patients in their home\, nursing home\, assisted living facility\, Coastal Hospice at the Lake\, or the Macky & Pam Stansell House. The organization serves Wicomico\, Worcester\, Dorchester\, and Somerset Counties.

Patients can receive palliative care while receiving treatments for their illness. \nCoastal Palliative Care is a community based medical program helping to meet the needs of patients with serious illnesses while they continue to receive curative treatments\, testing\, medications and other therapies. We work as part of the medical team collaborating with primary care providers and specialists to address symptom management and provide other supportive services. Currently patients can be seen in our clinic or at home if necessary.
