With a grant from the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore, Coastal Hospice is running an ad on local TV stations for a limited time. The ad features an African American couple and describes some of the benefits of hospice care. African Americans are less likely than others to call hospice. The TV ad is one step in a community education campaign designed to dispel some of the myths that may stand in their way.
