Coastal Hospice at the Lake is our 14-bed inpatient facility in Salisbury, Maryland. The center's dedicated staff addresses not only medical and nursing care for patients facing advanced illnesses, but also emotional and spiritual support for patients and their loved ones.

Some special features of Coastal Hospice at the Lake include:

• Quality, personalized care to improve the well-being of the patient and family, addressing the unique medical, physical, spiritual and emotional concerns of each.
• 24-hour-a-day staffing by a full range of experienced, caring medical professionals including physicians as well as registered nurses and hospice aides who specialize in hospice care.
• 6 private patient rooms; 8 semi-private patient rooms.
• Accommodations for family members, who wish to sleep, bathe or dine there.
• Many homelike features including a space where children can play, large great room, family kitchen, garden room, walkways and more.

Coastal Hospice at the Lake opened in 2004, thanks to the generous gifts and support from many individuals, foundations and organizations throughout this community.
